Web 2.0 is this new phenomenon taking over the internet. They are these web sites dedicated to making your internet life eaiser. The sites are well known like; Facebook, MySpace, Youtube, Wikipedia and Blogger. This is only a small amount of site compared to the thousands and thousands out there. 2.0 sites are interactive and doesnt just deliver information it will allow you to engage with the site. You become a participant in the cyber world. You can relay information and recieve it as well. Most of these application web site are free to use and downloading is no longer nessesary. http://www.go2web20.net/ This website allows you to search through the many 2.0 site avaliable to use.

My favorite part about the Web 2.0 applications is that it makes the internet useful for something other than just schoolwork. The face that they're free is another nice aspect to them. Fortunately, there are tons of free picture editing programs I can use to help me create scrap books. I can find a useful Web 2.0 application for almost every one of my hobbies, and they allow me to connect and share with other people out there who have the same hobbies as I do.
